Bandwidth
Bandwidth management is absolutely necessary in a network-based TCP / IP. The more and varied an application running on a same link will affect the performance of data transmission on the link. Thus the need for bandwidth management is highly in need as a basis of a design-based network TCP / IP. In this final simulation was made using the CBQ bandwidth management and network-based TBF on TCP / IP with a bandwidth of 64Kbps and 256Kbps, then performed a second observation of the performance of the above methods include throughput, response time, transfer rate and datagram loss. Tests conducted by the two scenarios is by IP address and port filtering service. Each scenario is tested in a topology without using a bridge or by passing the binary data of 4 MByte. From the test bandwidth management using the CBQ and TBF that has been done can be concluded that between 256Kbps and 64Kbps leaf classes have similar characteristics. In terms of throughput CBQ has a value greater than the TBF (TBF <256Kbps
